Emiliano Holy Child in its version of graphite, this is a very satisfactory illustration and drafted by direct recommendation of Isaac Hernandez, talented artist that struggles every day to continue to recognize that the quality of Mexican art in the United States, leader of the Mexican Workshop for Culture and the Arts in Seattle, Isaac was given a trip to Spain earlier this year to convene illustrators, photographers and national artists to participate in the exhibition " Death Illustrated, which is held every year at the University of Seattle, this time with the theme "Zapata, life and death." It was nice to meet and learn from others Zalce Beatriz, daughter of the great painter Alfredo Zalce, the great writer Sergio Sanchez Santamaria, Esmeralda Rios, one of my idols in the figure who had only seen his work until then, it was also great coexist Mauricio Gomez Morin of whom had already taken a workshop in the Diploma of Illustration Processes and Contexts 2008-2009, among many other personalities that were in that meeting as some fellow graduate and other famous illustrators such as Tania Juarez, but the central point of it was when we saw a workbook none other than Alfredo Zalce, a privilege that very few had had until that time, a masterpiece that has nourished our souls and wonder our eyes, truly a transcendent experience. Days after the meeting Isaac Hernandez contacted me, and I mentioned that a graphite would work only in much more of me mixed media work that thought sent immediately put to work and here is the final result. A big thanks to all these wonderful people who have helped both my professional development, go to them all, wherever you are, a fraternal embrace. Last year's exhibition will be on the FES Acatlán from today, October 20, is in the Art Gallery Javier Barros Sierra, Cultural Center Acatlan cordial invitation to all who read this blog to attend, thanks, see you soon.
