Clamp: Twenty years of reign.

April 1, 1989. For some, this date is irrelevant, but for others, this day marked the birth of one of the largest manga and anime movements in history. And that was when a group of twelve girls from Osaka decided to join pencils and captivate the souls of the millions of fans who have fallen at his feet.

Unfortunately, the group was breaking up today: twelve became only four women with a talent for drawing very surprising.

Yes, you guessed it: it is Clamp, Queens of Shojo, the creators of such wonderful works as Card Captor Sakura or XXXHOLiC.

Although became known as authors in 1989, two years earlier and made his first steps with the inks (making dojinshis, which are drawings made by amateurs rather than professional artists), along with eight other artists: Tamayo Akiyama, Soushi Hisagi, O-Kyon, Kazue Nakamori, Yuzuru Inoue, Sei Nanao, Shinya Ohmy and Leeza Sei.

currently Clamp consists of the four Queens of Shojo:

- Tsubaki Nekoi: Born in 1969 in Kyoto, is the co-director and his duty in the team includes correct application of screenshots and artwork from the manga. She is also the artist of the group (usually Mokona) in Lawful Drug, The One I Love, Wish, and Suki Dakara Suki. The previously known as Mick Nekoi. For the fifteenth anniversary of CLAMP in 2004, she and three other members of Clamp changed their names because they wanted new pseudonyms. In the last interview, Ageha Ohkawa said that the reasons for changing his name was that tired Nekoi people and commented that her name was like that of Mick Jagger. Her blood type is 0.

- Satsuki Igarashi: Born on February 8, 1969 in Kyoto. His duties include coordinating team production and Chobits character design and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. Like the other members of Clamp, she changed the spelling of his name to mark the fifteenth anniversary of the group. Her blood type is A.

- Mokona: Born June 16, 1969 in Kyoto. She is the artist of the team, which color and which is responsible for the composition. They knew before and Mokona Apapa. The reason for removing "Apapa" his name was that it sounded too immature for their liking. His blood type is A.

- Ageha Ohkawa, Ageha Ohkawa, born 2 May 1967 in Osaka. She is the team leader and team duties include writing scripts, making the design of the covers of the novels and sales plan. She has been previously known as Nanase Ohkawa.
